Assistant Manager - Retail Shop
Equinox Fitness Clubs, the premier company in the fitness industry, is looking for an Assistant Manager to travel between various Equinox Apparel Retail Stores in the LA region. Equinox, headquartered in New York City, currently operates 32 clubs throughout New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and South Beach. The retail shop is a critical part of our clubs and we need an Assistant Manager with a strong retail background. Come join our high-growth, dynamic team! As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Shop Manager in directing and motivating the sales team in numerous Equinox Shops to ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided to each and every person entering the shop. You will take direction from the Shop Manager on business strategy and action plans to ensure maximum productivity and compliance with all company policies and procedures. To qualify, you must possess previous apparel retail experience as well as merchandising and inventory experience. You must have proven leadership ability, the ability to take direction and to recruit, train and help develop quality people. You must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, monthly inventories and holidays. Good planning and time management skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously are required. Salary: $33k p/a.Only qualified candidates need apply.
