In 1960, on the outskirts of Hollywood, a bowling alley opened that would serve the community for the next forty-three years. It was called "Hollywood Star Lanes." In March 2003, it was demolished to make way for a school.Many of the vintage elements that you see at Lucky Strike(R) including the beloved "Hollywood" sign and the blue stars created for the movie "The Big Lebowski," are exact replicas of teh originals that we salvaged and are now on display at Lucky Strike Hollywood.
