Design Project Engineer Intrex Global Solutions, located in the San Fernando Valley, is a growing company focused on manufacturing and importing functional hardware for the furniture, shutter, and case goods industries. Overview: Seeking a Design / Project Engineer to provide support to various areas of the company in an ISO 9001 environment. Responsibilities: Performs preliminary and advanced work in development of working layouts and final master drawings adequate for detailing parts and units of design. Makes revisions to size, shape and arrangement of parts to create practical design. Analyze specifications, sketches, engineering drawings, ideas and related design data to determine critical factors affecting design of components. Design, engineering and implementation of devices, gages, databases, etc., utilized for inspection aspects, including the internal quality system. Day to day resolution of import engineering and quality issues, including ECO and/or change management. Perform supporting research required to qualify and quantify quality. Co-ordinates and oversees First Article Inspection of critical parts.. May visit Customers or Vendors as needed to facilitate the resolution of engineering or quality issues. Attend IGS project meetings. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDEAssist QA/Engineering
