Cinerama Dome
In its day, Hollywood's Cinerama Dome was the ultimate in high-tech flick viewing. From the outside, the theater resembled a giant, halved golf ball. Inside, the curved screen provided a nearly 180-degree cinematic experience. The Dome closed in 2000 for renovations. With upgraded amenities, it has re-opened along with the adjoining Arclight Theaters.
