Mr. Diamond is one of the founding partners of the firm. He heads the criminal division, with experience in handling a wide variety of criminal charges including DUI's, misdemeanors, felonies, and expungements. Additionally, Mr. Diamond handles negotiations and settlements for the firm and is one of the only attorneys in California that concentrates on restraining orders.

Mr. Diamond is an Associate Adjunct professor of Law at Southwestern University School of Law for the Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Program. He is also an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at National University. Mr. Diamond oversees the Criminal Defense, Litigation, and Expungement divisions at the firm.
David graduated from Michigan State University where he studied International Relations and Political Science. He served as the Director of Legal Services, running a student financed law firm and defending students accused of misconduct. Twice chosen as the Student Leader of the Year, he has since vowed to serve the needs of all his clients. David was on the Dean's Academic Honor List and was a teacher prior to entering law school. He attended the SCALE program at the Southwestern University School of Law, a 23 month accelerated and highly intensive learning program.
David worked in the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office before joining the team at Lewis, Brisbios, Bisgaard & Smith. There he concentrated on litigation before joining a small boutique firm which handled criminal defense cases. David was counsel on several DUI cases, felonies, and misdemeanors. He is also a volunteer flag football coach for the city of Los Angeles.

DUI Violations
In most cases, you will be charged with a violation of both 23152(a) and (b). California law states that a defendant charged with drinking and driving can be convicted of BOTH offenses, however, he or she can only be punished for one. Vehicle Code section 23153 sets forth the "felony DUI" charges, where an serious injury results from the drunk driving, and Penal Code sections 191.5 and 192 describe the crime of vehicular manslaughter, where there is a death. |
